Michael has been a part of the Bolingbrook Business Community since 2010. He was first elected to a four year term (in April of 2019) as one of your Village of Bolingbrook Trustees. He was re-elected in April of 2023 for another four year term on the Village Board. He serves (or has served) as a Volunteer Executive Board Member for several local non-profit organizations focused on youth mentoring, crime prevention, and education. Michael believes that Bolingbrook is a place to live, work, play, and grow! He lives in the "River Hills" subdivision of Bolingbrook with his wife (Dr. Nadia Carpanzano), and their two children (Mina and Luca).
Michael founded the Bolingbrook Events Page back in 2017 and currently serves as one of their Volunteer Content Creators! That's right, he doesn't charge a dime to feature events and doesn't get paid a dime to do it -- he just loves our Bolingbrook community!
In 2020, the COVID-19 pandemic placed extreme negative pressure on local small businesses and local restaurants. In addition, residents needed a central resource for goodwill and helpful links. Michael volunteered his time, money, and resources to create the #BolingbrookStrong initiative as well as SHOP Bolingbrook and Eat in Bolingbrook!
We also just launched a Bolingbrook Pet Resources Page and Bolingbrook Food Pantry Resources Page! Just recently we also unveiled our Things to Do in Bolingbrook page!

We are truly an amazing community with residents who are changing the world one day and one person at a time. Together we are able to reach our neighbors, share good-will stories, and give local non-profit organizations the attention they absolutely deserve.
